Day 1: Delhi Sightseeing
Received by our representative at the New Delhi airport and transfer to hotel. After breakfast, your guided tour will take you to explore the treasures of Delhi City. You will be fascinated by the famous monuments of the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, and Qutub Minar. The vast lawns and green gardens around Rajghat and the India Gate will certainly tranquilize your weary eyes. The brilliance of the Mughal Gardens, in the premises

to the magnificent Lotus Temple as well as the Birla Mandir. Evening enjoy the Folk and Tribal dances of India at Paris Anjuman Hall. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Delhi- Mandawa
Drive to Mandawa, an erstwhile fort of Rajput king. Check in to the hotel. The guide takes you to the exquisite village of Shekhawati, here you will be overwhelmed at the sight of the beautiful havelis built in 18th and 19th century. The paintings of deities whom the people worship are worth watching. Walk down the bazaar streets and pick up handicrafts as souvenirs. Also see the painted houses in the region.

Day 3: Mandawa- Bikaner
Drive to the city of the best breed camels in the world. Visit the Camel Breeding farms, Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace and Fort Museum. The magnificent palace is fabricated in red sandstone and marble is embellished with mirror work, exquisite carvings and paintings, definitely a worth visiting sight.

In the evening you are free to wander in the busy market area. Enjoy shopping at the King Edward memorial the main shopping hub offering diverse variety of products of all ranges, also shop the mouth watering delicacies of Bikaner(spicy snacks and sweets).

Day 4: Bikaner-Jaisalmer
Morning depart for Jaisalmer. The morning hours will be spent in a spectacular visit to the Jain temples inside the Sonar Quila. The palace inside this fort abode a museum showcasing a rich collection of robes and artifacts from the royal family of Jaisalmer. Afterwards, you are guided to the Patwaon ki haveli, the carved archways and intricately designed latticed windows are worth appreciating. The Gadisar Lake will offer you some memorable views.

Day 5: Jaisalmer-Manwar
Depart for Manwar. Stay in a tented camp in the middle of the desert. Explore the place on camel back. Visit a typical village of Rajasthan and enjoy a traditional meal there. Day 6: Manwar-Luni

Day 7: Luni- Jodhpur

Visit the grandeur of the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh fort and Jaswaqnt Thada.

Evenings at leisure, walk along the flourishing spice market here, you are left fascinated by the aroma of the opulent variety of spices. Enjoy shopping at Jodhpur, go for famous tie and dye work, hand woven carpets, leather shoes with embroidery work, and puppets from the Girdikot and Sardar Market.

Day 8: Jodhpur- Mount Abu
Drive to Mount Abu in the morning, Rajasthan's only hill station perched at an altitude of 1200metres. Visit the famous Delwara Jain temples and enjoy the exquisite carving of the temples dating back to the 11th century. Evenings at leisure, you can freak around in the town or can luxuriate in the recreational activities at hotel.

Day 9: Mount Abu Sightseeing Tour
Morning after typical Rajasthani breakfast visit the exquisite Garumukh Temple, enjoy the intricate carvings at the temples. Later in the evenings take a cruiser to a picturesque Nakki Lake and enjoy boating in the blue water also view sunset at the Sunset Point. Night at the hotel.

Day 10: Mount Abu-Udaipur
Morning reach Udaipur, check in the hotel. Your day trip to the city includes a visit to City Palace, the largest Palace museum of Rajasthan. Take a walk through the colorful Bapu Bazaar and enjoy shopping the delicate silver Jewelry and tie and dye fabrics for which the city is famous. Towards sunset proceed to a cruise on Lake Pichola, and visit the Jag Mandir Palace amidst the lake, the picturesque beauty of the palace will take your breath away.

Day 11: Udaipur Sightseeing
Today you will be undertaking a complete sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the 300-year-old Jagdish Temple and the Royal Cenotaphs of the Rajput kings the Pratap Memorial, a bronze statue of the chivalrous hero, Maharana Pratap riding on the horseback will definitely cherished by you. Also visit Sahelion-ki-bari, luxuriate some time in this embellishing garden where royal ladies use to bask in the green lawns and blue waters. In afternoon visit Fatehsagar Lake and go for a motor boat cruiser.
Evenings drive to Pushkar, overnight at the Pushkar Ciry.

Day 12: Pushkar Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast get ready for your day excursion to Pushkar city. Pushkar retains its sacredness, as Lord Brahma (the Creator) and Saraswati his wife fulfilled a ritual in the lake here. Pay your homage to the divine Brahma temple of the world and also socialize with the local life in the colorful bazaars. If it is the month of October/November then you are lucky to enjoy the world famous cattle fair of Pushkar.

Towards the sunset visit the Pushkar Lake and 52 bathing "ghats" and numerous temples surrounding the lake, also enjoy the sunset view from the lake.

Day 13: Pushkar-Samode
Drive to Samode Palace. The palace retains its erstwhile ambience and charm. Samode palace has now been converted into a heritage Hotel. Check in the Samode Palace Hotel.

Samode a small village near Jaipur is famous for its beautiful Samode Palace and garden. You will be wonder struck at the building structure of the exquisite Diwan-I-Khas, that still adorned with original paintings and mirror work. During the day, a camel ride through the Samode village and the adjoining countryside is a good idea. Camel ride in Rajasthan is the best way to relax on a sunny morning. Day 14: Jaipur Sightseeing
Morning proceed for Jaipur City, after reaching check in the hotel. The guide shall meet you at the hotel to take you to the Pink City tour. Visit the impressive Amber Fort 12 km from Jaipur. At the foothill, mount on the elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate. The ride will lead you to the bygone era of Rajaput Kings. Day 15: Jaipur-Delhi
Morning after breakfast leave the pink city and drive back to Delhi. After arriving Delhi, on way to airport visit Chatterpur Temple, the most beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, pay your homage at the temple and drive to the airport to board flight for your onward destination.

Day :7 Pokhara - Jodhpur
Drive to Jodhpur, with sightseeing in the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.

Day :8 Jodhpur - Mandore - Rohet
Visit Mandore, and then continue to Rohet with charming fort where you will stay. In afternoon, a jeep safari to the surrounding Rabari and Bishnoi villages. Overnight at Hotel.

Day :9 Rohet - Daspan
Drive to Daspan village where the fertile fields grow bountiful crops, and the village is known for its embroidered shoes. There are also some families that make bows and arrows in the Bhil style. Overnight at Hotel.

At morning after breakfast drive to Mandawa.On arrival check in Hotel . Afternoon half day local tour of Mandawa. Mandawa is renowned for its innumerable painted havelies (mansions), which were the homes of the Marwari trading community. These handsome havelies, adorned with elaborate and intricate frescoes, are over a hundred years old, and have withstood the ravages of time. The grand havelies of the Goenkas, Ladia, Sarafs and the Chokhanis, in Mandawa are fine examples of the famous Shekhawati workmanship. Over night stay at hotel.

Day :4 Mandawa - Khimsar

Post breakfast visit Saraf Haveli with scenes of erotica, train, women at the well and the Ladia Havelis showing contemporary scenes as well as mirror work and Ludlow Castle famous for murals including hunting scenes, women musicians. Afternoon drive down to Khimsar. Upon arrival check in Hotel, perched on the edge of the Great Thar Desert is this unique 16th century fort. Rao Jodha - the founder Maharaja of Jodhpur successfully launched the royal dynasty at Khimsar. Currently, the 18th, 19th and 20th generations of the royal lineage still reside in this historic fort. Originally, the fort walls were built in 16th century. Subsequently, by mid 18th century, the royal family moved in and a new ladies residence was erected with finely carved windows in stone. Day :5 Khimsar - Manvar
After breakfast enjoy Jeep safari at Khimsar sand dunes that shelter fields where the rare blackbuck can be spotted grazing. Afternoon drive down to Manvar. Morning after breakfast leave for Rohetgarh, enroute visit Jodhpur. Jodhpur - a city founded in 1459 by Rao Jodha and is today one of the leading centers for wood, cattle, camels, salt and agriculture crops. Jodhpur is surrounded by a high stone wall with seven gates and countless bastions. The second largest city of Rajasthan is famous for the impregnable Meharangarh Fort. Also visit Jaswant Thada, a collection of royal cenotaphs built in white marble, Mandore Gardens. On arrival at Rohetgarh check in at Hotel . Rohet - has been the fortified desert home of the descendants of the 16th century Rathore of Champawat clan. Day :7 Rohetgarh - Deogarh
Morning Jeep safari to visit Bishnoi Village Later drive down to Deogarh. On arrival check in at Hotel Deogarh Mahal . The castle is built in 1670 on the architectural plans of the Sompura architects, the overall symmetry remains undisturbed despite a plethora of balconies, windows, pillars and staircases in this large palace. The region has always been the seat of the Chundawat clan of Sisodia Rajputs, as well of the Deogargh school of paintings. Surrounded by the Bhil villages this settlement fills with colours during the unique clebration of the Bhills of various festivals.

Day :8 Deogarh - Udaipur - Dungarpur
Morning after breakfast drive down to Dungarpur enroute visit Udaipur. Udaipur - is one of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan, known as city of Lakes, Palaces and Gardens. Morning visit the City Palace in all its ancient glory, the residence of the Maharajas of Udaipur. City Palace has several carved balconies, arches and decorated pillars. Onto Sahelion -Ki-Bari (queen''s resort for the friends) famous for its spectacular lawns, fountains and shady walks. Upon arrival at Dungarpur check-in at Hotel Udai Bilas Palace. It was built to overlook Gaibsagar lake, the palace was first built in the mid-19th century and was extensively renovated and enlarged in the 1940''s and fitted with glittering chandeliers and art -deco furniture. Dungarpur was a 13th century hostile offshoot of Chittaurgargh . The town has two beautiful palaces whose architecture is worth exploring since they consist of every known embellishment used in the making of any building.

Day :9 Dungarpur - Chittorgarh - Bijaipur
Morning proceed to Bijaipur. Enroute visit Chittaurgargh fort. Upon arrival at Bijaipur, check-in at Hotel Castle Bijaipur. Bijaipur - Amid the serene Vindhyanchal ranges, Castle Bijaipur stands as a tradition in hospitality, pageantry and Rajput charm. Built in the 16th Century by Rao Shakti Singh Ji, the younger brother of the great patriot MAHARANA PRATAP to defend the MEWAR EMPIRE from invasions from central India, the chevaliers of this strategic fort have fought many fierce battles of historical importance against the Mughals and the Marathas. The thirteenth descendant of this fort has opened it''s doors to tourists. A wildlife Sanctuary is situated adjacent to the Castle, harbouring rare fauna including the Leopards, Chinkaras, Spotted Deer, Four Horned Deer, Crocodile, Wild Boar and a variety of birds. The 12th century Pangarh Fort overlooking the Lotus Lake spread out in 200 acres, is an amazing site to watch. It is 15 Km by jeep from the Castle. While Boating, if you are lucky you can see the tribals harpooning fish as done in ancient times.
Day :10 Bijaipur

Day :11 Bijaipur - Bundi

Morning after breakfast proceed to Bundi Enroute visit Kota Fort. Upon arrival at Bundi, check-in at Hotel Braj Bhushanji ki Haveli. The Haveli was built a hundred and fifty years ago by a family that gave the state four of its chief ministers. Bundi:- The palace of Bundi located in the most picturesque location, isolated and independent, appears almost like a miniature. Built of locally queried stone, it presents one of the finest examples of Rajput architecture. Intricately carved brackets, pillars and balconies and sculpted elephants are used frequently. The Chitra Shala inside the palace provides a colourful glimpse of history, the walls and ceiling of this palace are completely covered with paintings. Other places of interest are the Phool Sagar Palace, Sukh Mahal and the Shikar Burj. Bundi is also known for its baolis or step wells. Unique to Rajasthan and Gujarat, the step wells served as water reservoir for the months of summer when there was a scarcity of water. One of the best preserved is Raniji-ki-Baoli with its exquisitely carved pillars and ornate archways.

Day :12 Bundi - Ajmer - Pushkar
Morning after breakfast drive to Pushkar. Enroute visit Tomb of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti at Ajmer. Ajmer: Famous for the tomb of the sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, the Dargah Sharif. The city was founded by the Chauhan ruler, Aiaipal, during the 11th century and is dominated by the Taragarh Fort built by Prithiviraj Chauhan. Some 800 years ago, a splendid embankment was built by Anaji by the lovely lake, Ana Sagar and some 500 years later Shah Jehan erected 5 beautiful marble pavilions. On arrival Check in at Hotel Pushkar Palace. Pushkar is a sacred town and lies 11 kms north east of Ajmer. According to mythology, the Pushkar lake is supposed to have appeared miraculously when a lotus flower fell from the hands of Lord Brahma and dropped into this valley. On Kartik Poornima, in the month of October, thousands of pilgrims come to bathe in the holy waters of the Pushkar Lake. The fair is overwhelming in its magnitude and its visual impact. Colorful bazaars are set up, camels are paraded and also bought and sold. Evening enjoy sunset view.

Day :13 Pushkar - Samode
Morning proceed to Samode. On arrival check in at Hotel Samode Palace. The Nathawats of Samode played an important role in the Durbar of Jaipur where they served as prime ministers. Samode is a charming village and is surrounded by fertile fields, while a ring of sharp hills was the seat for their fortifications. It is famous for its high quality frescoes , and particularly in the use of indigo colours and the richly painted Durbar hall.

Day :14 Samode
Full day excursion of Jaipur visiting the Amer Fort - Remarkable for the majestic grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and beautiful palaces. Climb upto the fort on the back of an elephant. Afternoon city tour visiting City Palace - where the former Maharaja still resides in a part of it, but rest now serves as a Museum. Also visit Jantar Mantar, an observatory built by a great astronomer Sawai Jai Singh onto drive past through Hawa Mahal(Palace of winds).Overnight at hotel.

Day :15 Samode - Agra
Morning after breakfast drive to Agra. . En-route visit Fatehpur - Sikri Once the capital of Mughal Empire and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. Its fortifications and Palaces are in a wonderful state of preservation.On arrival at Agra,check-in at Hotel Jaypee Palace.

Day :16 Agra - Delhi
Morning half day city tour visiting the World famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in the year 1652 as a memorial for his beloved wife MumtazMahal. The grandeur called the Taj is perhaps the most photographed, filmed, described and sketched building of the world. Taj Mahal is where fantasy coincides with reality in perfect harmony. An inspiration for innumerous artists over the centuries, the Taj is an ode to love. It took 22 years to create this jewel. Agra Fort built and renovated over the centuries, this massive fort gained recognition only during the Mughal reign. Tomb of Itmad-ud-daullah- built by Empress Noorjehan in the memory of her father. Afternoon leave by road for Delhi. Arrive at Delhi and after dinner at Hotel Radisson Vasant Continental, or in the city restaurant, departure transfer to international airport to fly back home onward destination.

 
Itinerary 4 TOUR CODE :HH/HIC/165 Delhi – Mandawa – Shekhawati – Jaipur – Jodhpur – Udaipur – Delhi

 

Day :1 Delhi
On your arrival at Delhi, the capital of India, you will be meet and greet by our representatives at the airport/ railway station and transferred to a hotel in Delhi. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day :2 Delhi

After breakfast in the morning enjoy a daylong sightseeing city tour of Delhi. Visit the famous historical monuments such as Qutub Minar, Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Humayun Tomb to name a few. In the evening enjoy shopping at famous markets of Delhi such as Connaught place, Janpath or South Extension. Overnight stay at Delhi.

Day :3 Delhi - Mandawa

In the morning, we drive to Mandawa (240 Km from Delhi) in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Check in at a hotel on arrival. In the afternoon enjoy a sightseeing tour of Mandawa. Visit amazingly beautiful Havelis (mansions) in Mandawa notably the Chokhani Saraf and Ladia Havelis. Later visit the Mandawa Fort. The terrace of the rugged Fort provides a panoramic view of the town. See the extraordinary frescoes on the walls of the houses and medieval painting of Shekhawati. Apart from visiting beautiful havelis in Mandawa, you can witness the art and craft of the region. The Shekhawati art is quite popular in Mandawa and you can find many exquisite handicraft items. Shopping in Mandawa is another wonderful idea of enjoying. You can also enjoy a camel or jeep safari to explore the exotic natural landscapes of the region. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day :4 Mandawa-Shekhawati
After breakfast in the morning, we are ready to explore the Shekhawati region, an important town of the years gone by. Visit a number of remarkable 18th & 19th century painted Havelis (mansions) and castles in the nearby towns of Dundlod, Nawalgarh and Laxmangarh. You also get an opportunity to observe the village life from close quarters. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day :5 Shekhawati - Jaipur
After breakfast we proceed to Jaipur by road. Check in at a hotel on arrival. After lunch at the hotel, enjoy an afternoon sightseeing of Jaipur city. Visit the famous City Palace, Hawa Mahal (the palace of wind), Jantar Mantar (an observatory built by astronomer king Maharaja Jai Singh) and the modern Birla Planetarium, which provides a celestial view of star clusters. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day :6 Jaipur
In the morning visit the magnificent Amber Fort, the greatest attraction at Jaipur. The famous fort is situated 7 miles up on a hilltop. The most convenient way to reach the fort is by riding an elephant. A ride to the fort on the back of an elaborately painted elephant is a special tourist attraction, which would surely be a unique experience for you. Other major attraction at the fort is its gigantic and unimaginably huge cannon called Jaiban that is forty feet in length and immensely heavy needing a caravan of elephants to move it from one place of the fort to the other. Evening at leisure. You can shop for exquisite handicrafts items, jewelry, clothes and other attractive items at Jaipur. Overnight stay at Jaipur.

Day :7 Jaipur - Jodhpur
After breakfast, we drive to Jodhpur. On arrival check in to a hotel and relax. Later in the day visit the museum of Umaid Bhawan Palace. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day :8 Jodhpur
In the morning visit the nearby typical Rajasthani Bishnoi villages in a jeep and get a first hand experience of their rich culture and traditions. Return back to your hotel to have your lunch. Thereafter, enjoy an afternoon city sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. Visit the famous Mehrangarh Fort. Inside the Fort you can see a number of palaces showcasing a variety of miniature paintings & cradle room. Later visit the famous Jaswant Thada memorial. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day :9 Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast in the morning, we start for Udaipur by surface. Udaipur, the city of lakes is world famous for its fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, and gardens to name a few. On way to Udaipur, visit the famous Jain temples at Ranakpur. On arrival at Udaipur check in to a hotel and relax. In the afternoon enjoy a boat rise over Lake Pichola till the sunset. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day :10 Udaipur
After breakfast in the morning, enjoy a daylong sightseeing tour of Udaipur. Visit the famous Lake Palace, City Palace and Jag Niwas Island. In the evening enjoy a motor launch cruise on the placid waters of Lake Pichola. Visit the Jag Mandir Palace, an island palace situated in the middle of the lake. Enjoy some relaxing moments at the Jag Mandir Palace. Stay overnight at Udaipur.

Day :11 Udaipur - Delhi
In the morning, we drive back to Delhi. Check-in to a hotel in Delhi on arrival. If time permits, explore the metropolis and do a last minute shopping. Later you would be transferred to airport / railway station for your onward journey or way back home.
