Day 3 : Paris – Amsterdam

Breakfast at Hotel, Morning free at leisure to enjoy Amsterdam and then proceed on your own to Gray Line Ticket Shop opposite the Central Station (Stationsplein 10, Amsterdam) for your PANORAMIC CIRCLE TOUR which highlights - Past and present, trade and leisure, religion and coffee shops, diamonds and beer, all flourish together in splendid Amsterdam! On this extensive bus excursion, we will show you the whole variety of impressions Amsterdam offers. From the monuments in the center you will be led to life in the latest quarters, designed for the future, with a blink to the past. A picture stop at a windmill and in the area of modern architecture is included. Also the diamond factory we will visit commemorates Amsterdam's wealthy past. Day 5 : Amsterdam – London

Day 6 : London
Breakfast at Hotel, You start your day with a Half Day Guided Panoramic Tour of London featuring WESTMINSTER ABBEY – Founded over 1000 years ago, this is the burial place of kings, statesmen, poets, scientists, warriors and musicians. The Abbey has seen all 38 coronations since that of William the Conqueror on Christmas Day 1066, as well as the funerals of Diana Princess of Wales and the Queen Mother. If a religious service prevents us visiting inside the Abbey we will visit the Cloisters and Chapter House. PARLIAMENT, WHITEHALL, DOWNING STREET, PALL MALL – We drive past the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street and the official London residence of the British Prime Minister, Horse Guards and Pall Mall. CHANGING OF THE GUARD – We alight near The Mall, and either go via St. James’s Palace to Buckingham Palace, the London residence of Her Majesty the Queen, for the Changing of the Foot Guard; or to Horse guards Parade, to see the Changing of the Household Cavalry. Wonderful, colourful spectacles and a great photo opportunity! . Afternoon is free at leisure to shop in London. Overnight at Hotel

Day 3 : PARIS - ZURICH
Breakfast at Hotel, departure transfer from hotel to train station for your TGV train to Zurich. Arrive in Zurich and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 : ZURICH
Breakfast at Hotel, this morning you will proceed for a Full Day Tour of Mt Titlis and Lucerne. An adventure excursion to the highest vantage point in Central Switzerland. A pleasant ride with our deluxe motor coach takes you to the mountain resort of Engelberg in Central Switzerland, where you will board the aerial cableway for a 45 minute journey from the green valley bottom to the high alpine glacier region at 3020 m-10000 ft which guarantees snow the whole year round. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the worlds first ever revolving ROTAIR gondola, which offers a 360 degree panoramic view into the Alps. Visit the Ice Grotto, experience the new Ice Flyer - chair lift ride over the glacier with fantastic views into crevasses and ice falls and enjoy a snow slide on the Fun lift. (These activities are included in our tour). After the descent to Engelberg we board our coach for a drive to Lucerne, time at leisure (approx. 1 hour) for sightseeing and shopping before the coach takes you back to Zurich. For this tour you will have to make your own way to the Bus Station opposite the Train Station where the tour will start and end. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5 : ZURICH - COLOGNE
Breakfast at Hotel, today morning you are free to explore Zurich on your own. Departure transfer to Train Station at 1400hrs to connect your train to Cologne. Arrival Transfer at 2100hrs in Cologne to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 6 : Cologne - AMSTERDAM
Breakfast at Hotel, Morning you are free to explore Cologne and see the Cologne Cathedral on your own. Departure Transfer at 1700hrs to Train Station to connect your train to Amsterdam . Arrive in Amsterdam at 2100hrs and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

First stop this morning is Ferrara. Time to wander at whim or to check out the enticing shops with Florentine leather goods and gold jewelry. You may want to join one of the exciting evening optionals.

Follow your Local Guide to visit the ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS with Michelangelo's celebrated David, the magnificent CATHEDRAL, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry’s heavy bronze “Gate of Paradise,” and the sculpture-studded SIGNORIA SQUARE. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7 : Florence–Pisa–Nice, France
Focus on Pisa this morning for pictures of its amazing Leaning Tower, 180 feet high and 12 feet out of the perpendicular. Then a scenic drive past a string of Italian and French Riviera resorts towards the Principality of Monaco. Here leave the highway for the panoramic Moyenne Corniche. Before arriving in Nice, visit one of the PERFUME FACTORIES for which the area is famous.
Day 8 : Nice. Excursion to St. Paul de Vence
This morning enjoy an included visit to the picturesque hilltop town of St. Paul de Vence. Then a lazy afternoon to dabble in the blue Mediterranean or stroll along the elegant Promenade des Anglais. An optional outing is available tonight to Monte Carlo.
Day 9 : Nice–Paris
Transfer to the railway station and board the high-speed “TGV” TRAIN to Paris. You may wish to try out one of Paris’ fine restaurants and to explore the City of Light!
Day 10 : Paris
Discover the world capital of chic and style with a Local Guide and admire its most famous sights: the Opéra, Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, Notre Dame Cathedral, and more. For a bird’s-eye view take the elevator to the second floor of Paris’ most famous landmark, the EIFFEL TOWER. An optional excursion to the lavish baroque Palace of Versailles is available. Day 4 : Vienna–Melk–Salzburg
This morning enjoy a leisurely DANUBE CRUISE. Afterwards, follow the Danube Valley to historic Melk for pictures of the Melk Abbey. No landscape is more typically Austrian than the Salzkammergut lakeland. A picture stop at the Parish Church in Mondsee, which was used for the wedding scenes in The Sound of Music, then continue to Salzburg.
Day 5 : Salzburg
A pleasant stroll with a Local Guide takes you through the historic center. Admire exquisite MIRABELL GARDENS, the Great Festival Hall, ST. PETER’S CHURCHYARD, the monumental Domplatz and take pictures of Mozart’s birthplace in the charming Getreidegasse. Afternoon at leisure with optional possibilities.
Day 6 : Salzburg–Innsbruck–St. Moritz, Switzerland
Morning visit to Innsbruck in the Tyrolean Mountains. Enjoy a pleasant walk through its quaint medieval lanes to Emperor Maximilian’s GOLDEN ROOF. Next, enter the Swiss Engadine, considered by many as the most beautiful mountain area in the world, with its deep-blue lakes, airy larch forests that turn golden in the fall, mountain peaks exceeding 12,000 feet, and quaint villages with massive white stone houses in the characteristic Grisons style. The rest of the day is at leisure in ritzy St. Moritz.
Day 7 : Moritz–Chur–Zermatt
Drive through exhilarating Alpine scenery. At Chur board the first-class panoramic coach of the world-renowned GLACIER EXPRESS TRAIN. Admire thundering waterfalls, impressive peaks, glacial ice fields, and tiny villages as you pass through the Valais, a region known for its great mountain resorts and excellent wines. This afternoon you are in Zermatt, a picturesque cluster of rustic chalets beneath the majestic Matterhorn.
Day 8 : Leisure in Zermatt
An entire day at leisure to breathe the fresh mountain air and to catch up on your postcards. A suggestion: ride Europe’s highest rack-railway to 10,272-foot Gornergrat for a breathtaking panoramic view of the Alps.
Day 9 : Zermatt–Berne
Board the MOUNTAIN TRAIN to Täsch and motor through the vineyards and apricot groves of the lower Rhône Valley to the shores of Lake Geneva. Here enjoy a highlight visit to CHILLON CASTLE, the 12th-century water fortress immortalized by the poet Lord Byron. Evening arrival in Berne.
Day 10 : Berne–Interlaken–Lucerne
Sightseeing with a Local Guide starts at the popular BEAR PIT and then focuses on the monumental Federal Palace and the beautifully preserved medieval Old Town. Day 12 : Zurich
