Khatling Sahasratal Trekking

Day 01): Arrive Delhi
On arrival met at the airport and transfer to the hotel. O/N stay at Hotel.

Day 02): Delhi - Rishikesh (230 kms/6-7hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive (227 km) to reach Rishikesh. Stop at Haridwar for sightseeing of Ganga Ghats & Temples then proceed to Rishikesh. Arrive & check in at the hotel. Evening free in Rishikesh. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 03): Rishikesh - Uttarkashi (170 kms/ 4-5 hrs)

Morning after breakfast proceed for Uttarkashi (1150 mts), which takes 5-6 hrs. Upon arrival check-in at Shikhar Nature Resort. After lunch visit NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering) Institute & Museum.

Day 04): Uttarkashi - Malla (25 kms) - Sillachhan (9 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast drive 25 kms to Malla and from here 9 kms trek to Sillachhan with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 05): Sillachhan (2040 mts/6692 ft) -Kushkalyani (11 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast trek to Kushkalyani with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 06): Kushkalyani - Kyarki Khal (4077 mts/13373 ft) (14 kms/6 hrs)
Morning after breakfast trek to Kyarki Khal via lush green meadows, waterfalls and much more. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 07): Kyarki - Parital (18 kms/7 hrs)
In the morning we will trek to Parital via a Kyarki Bugyal. Dinner and overnight in Camp.

Day 08): Parital - Sahastral (5000 mts/16405 ft) (12 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast trek to Sahasratal via Taddiudyar with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 09): Sahastral - Kalyani (2683 mts/8800 ft) (16 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning trek to Kalyani with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp

Day 10): Kalyani - Kharsoli(2896 mts/9489 ft) (11 kms/5 hrs)
In the morning trek to Kharsoli via Biroda with pack lunch. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.Day 11: Kharsoli - Tambakund (3413 mts/11195 mts) 8 kms/5 hrs. In the morning trek to Tambakund with pack lunch. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 11): Tambakund - Khatling Glacier (3717 mts/12192 ft) - Tambakund
In the morning trek 3 kms trek to Khatling Glacier with packed lunch. In the afternoon, return trek to Tambakund. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 12): Tambakund - Masar Tal (3675 mts/12054 ft) 6 kms/3 hrs)
In the morning trek to Masar Tal with packed lunch. It's a High Altitude lake. The place is rich in fauna. Here is a small camping place. Dinner and overnight in camp.

Day 13): Masar Tal - Vasuki Tal (4135 mts/13563 ft) (15 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning trek to Vasuki Tal via Mayali pass (5400 mts) Painya Tal and Teental with packed lunch. This is a crystal clear pearl set in an unrivalled setting the Vasuki Tal Lake. From here the Vasuki Ganga starts which mingles with the Mandakini at Sonprayag. Dinner and overnight at Vasuki Tal in camp.

Day 14): Vasuki Tal - Kedarnath (8 kms/4 hrs)
In the morning trek down to Kedarnath with packed lunch. The temple is magnificent in its style and architecture and to construct such a temple at this height over one thousand years ago must have been quite a feat. It is the abode of Lord Shiva and one of the famous Jyotirlinga. Dinner and overnight stay in TRH/ guest house.

Day 15): Kedarnath - Gaurikund (14 kms/4 hrs) - Rudraprayag (130 kms/4 hrs)
After breakfast trek down to Gaurikund with packed lunch. As per religious texts Goddess Parvati meditated here for a considerable time to win a consort in Lord Shiva, Gauri is another name of Parvati. Also a famous temple of Gauri is at Gaurikund. Further drive to Rudraprayag. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel/TRH.

Day 16): Rudraprayag - Haridwar (160 kms/6 hrs)
In the morning take a holy dip in the confluence (Mandakini & Alaknanda River). After breakfast drive to Haridwar. On arrival check in to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 17): Haridwar - Delhi (210 kms/5 hrs)
In the morning after breakfast drive to Delhi. Lunch enroute. On arrival at Delhi transfer to airport to catch your onwards flight.

Day01) : Arrive Delhi:

Day 02): Delhi - Mussoorie 1921 mts
Receive at Delhi railway station and straight drive of 300 km to Mussoorie. The road winds up to Mussoorie, a beautiful summer resort. Overnight in hotel.

Day 03): Mussoorie
Day free at Mussoorie to explore the surroundings. Night Stay at Mussoorie.

Day 04): Mussoorie - Uttarkashi 1150 mts.
Drive 5 hours. The drive along the ridge line to Chamba, affords panoramic views of the high mountain peaks of Garhwal. Then down to Tehri to join the Bhagirathi river valley, which we follow upto Gangotri. Overnight in Tourist Bungalow in Uttarkashi.

Day 05): Mussoorie- Gangotri 3048 mts.
Drive 5 hours (100 kms). Following the torrential river up stream, the road winds up the valley past the hot sulphur springs at Gangnani, to climb steeply up a seies of hairpin bends to the village of Sukki.

Day 06: Gangotri
The Day is spent exploring this place of pilgrimage. Thousands of Pilgrims arrive here in summer to wash away their sins in the holy Ganga, it is said that Lord Shiva sat at the base of this fall to take the Ganga into his locks, for otherwise her descent from the heavens would have split the earth. Overnight in hotel/tourist bunglow.

Day 07: Gangotri - Chirbasa or Bhojbasa 3350 mts.
An easy walk (13 KMS TREK). The wide trail initially passes through dense deodar forests before emerging into the wide unforested valley. It then carries on to a small isolated forest of pine at Chirbases, literally the abode of pines. Camp on a grassy meadow beside the Bhagirathi.
Trek time : 5 hours, 13 KMS TREK.

Day 08: Bhojbasa - Gaumukh 3850 mts.
Continuing along the pilgrim grassy hillsides. Trail then curves, to unfold a breathtaking view of wild flowers studded meadows crowned by the Bhagirathi group of peaks Camp on a wide sandy beach at Gaumukh, where the holy Ganga gushes out of the snout of the Gangotri glacier, is set in a wide moraine-stream valley Shivling 6540 m, sits looking down like an old learned man, while the Bhagirathi I, II and III tower above.
Trek time : 5 hours, 4 KMS.

Day 09: Gaumukh - Tapovan 4350 mts.
The trail leaves its way through the terminal moraine before cutting across the Gangotri glacier and climbing steeply up to the grassy slopes to the vast ablation valley of Tapowan. The vast meadows strewn with wild flowers are situated at the base of Shivling. The Bhagirathi peaks are now almost within touching distance. Camp is set in the heart of high mountains country for 3 nights.
Trek time : 5 hours, 5 KMS TREK.

Day 12: Tapovan - Nandavan 4570 mts
This Day is largely an exercise is boulder hopping. Crossing the moraine covered Gangotri glacier to Nandawan located at the confluence of the Chaturangi and the Gangotri glaciers. Literally meaning the four coloured glacier. The Chaturangi is truly multi-hued. The massive meadows of Nandavan are situated at the base of the Bhagirathi massif. The area provides excellent sightings of Bharal (blue sheep). Overnight in camp.
Trek time : 6 hours, 7 KMS TREK.

Day 13: Nandavan - Vasuki Tal 4800 mts.
A full Days walk to the picturesque Vasuki tal lake. The trail follows a grassy ridge running parallel to the Chaturangi glaciers,
across a small glaciereroded valley to Vasuki tal. It then continues along the lateral moraine of the Chaturangi glacier to views of Mt. Satopanth. Return to camp.
Trek time : 6 hours, 7 KMS TREK.

Day 14: Nandavan - Gaumukh
Another boulder hop along the Gangotri glacier to its snout at Gangotri.
Trek time : 5 hours, 13 KMS TREK.

Day 15: Gaumukh - Gangotri - Uttarkashi
Retrace steps to Gangotri. Drive to Uttarkashi. Overnight in camp or Tourist huts.

Day 16: Uttarkashi - Rishikesh
Drive to Rishikeh 5 hours.

Day 17: Rishikesh - Delhi
Drive to Haridwar railway station and from Haridwar catch train for Delhi. On arrival meet at the station and transfer to the hotel.O/n stay at Hotel.

Day 18: Delhi - Departure:
Morning free in the afternoon transfer to the international airport time to catch flight for Onward destinations.

Rishikesh Gopeshwar Trek :
Starting at Rishikesh, 11 - day long trek, passes through Pipalkoti, Kalpeshwar, Bansi Narain, Godiyala, Rudranath, and Sagar, and ends at Gopeshwar.

Day 01): Rishikesh-Helang
After breakfast drive 240 kms from Rishikesh to Helang. Overnight stay in tent.

Trek 12 kms to Dumukh. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 07): Dumukh-Toli
Trek 9 kms to Toli. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 08): Toli-Rudranath
Trek 10 kms to Rudranath. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 09): Rudranath-Panar Gufa
Trek 14 kms to Panar Gufa. Overnight stay in tent.

Day 10): Panar Gufa-Gopeshwar
After breakfast 10 kms trek to Sagar and drive 4 kms to Gopeshwar. Overnight stay in rest house or hotel.

Day 11): Gopeshwar-Rishikesh
After breakfast 223 kms drive to Rishikesh Rhodendhron and lots of wild flowers and ferns. The trek will take 3- 4 hrs to reach Deoriatal. Upon arrival at Deoriatal set out the tents for overnight stay.

Panch Kedar Trekking Tour
The Panch Kedar trek includes all the five shrines associated with the Hindu legends. All of them are situated in the Kedar Valley. At Kedarnath, which is situated at the head of the Mandakini River, the Linga is a natural rock that resembles the hump of a bull. Madhmaheshwar, situated at the base of Chaukhamba Peak is at an altitude of 3500 m. Here the Linga is worshipped in the form of a navel. Tungnath, where tha arm of Shiva appeared is the highest temple in Garhwal is situated at an altitude of 3810 m. 500 m above the temple at Tungnath is Chandrashila.
The panoramic view of the Himalayas is breathtaking. Rudranath is where the face of Shiva is said to have appeared. Here there is a natural rock temple in which the Shiva Mukha is worshipped. To reach Rudranath, one

has to trek throough alpine meadows and dense forests. Kalpeshwar is situated in the beautiful valley of Urgam. There is a cave temple here and Shiva is worshipped in his matted hair form.

The Panch Kedar trek is one of the best ways of getting a quick preview of the Garhwal Himalaya. The Garhwal Himalaya contain some of the highest peaks in India, viz. Nanda Devi (7817m), Trishul (7120m) and Chaukhamba (7138m). It is the source of the great Ganga and Yamuna rivers. They house the sacred Badrinath and Kedarnath shrines, as well as forests of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, Valley of Flowers National Park, Askot Wildlife Sanctuary and the Benog Reserve (Mussourie), among others.
Cradled in these very Garhwal Himalaya's ranges are five of Hinduism's most important temples, popularly known as the Panch Kedar, viz.

1. Kedarnath (3584 m)
2. Madhmaheshwar (3289 m)
3. Tungnath (3810 m)
4. Rudranath (2286 m)
5. Kalpanath (2134 m), sprawled over a vast area with altitudes ranging from 1500m to 3680m.

Punch Kedar Trekking Itinerary:
The Panch Kedar circuit is a 170km and 16-day trek, starting with a drive from Rishikesh to Gaurikund. The actual trek begins at Guarikund, one of the most picturesque spots in the entire Garhwal region wouldn't demean the Alps with a comparison, but is as good, if not better!

Situated on the Rudraprayag - Kedarnath road, Guarikund provides a breathtaking view of the Himalayan ranges surrounding it.

Day 01): Arrive Delhi
On arrival at airport met our representative and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02): Delhi - Rishikesh (230 kms/6 ½ hrs)
check into the hotel. In the evening visit Temples, Laxman Jhoola and Triveni Ghat for Arti darshan. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03): Rishikesh - Pipalkoti (1219 mts/3998 ft) 218 kms/7-8 hrs
Morning after breakfast drive to Pipalkoti via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karanprayag, Nandprayag. On arrival check in at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04): Pipalkoti - Helang - Urgam (2134 mts/7000 ft) 9 kms trek/3-4 hrs
In the morning after breakfast drive 15 kms to reach Helang. From her we will start our trek up to Urgam Village. We will cross Alaknanda River via Road Bridge. The trek pass through the dense forest, murmuring water falls along with KalpGanga. Urgam Valley is famous for its apple orchard, terraced fields and potatoes. Evening free to explore the fascinating Urgam Valley. Dinner and night stay in tents.

Day 05): Urgam - Kalpeshwar - Urgam (2 kms one side)
An early morning walk up to the first Kedar (one of Panch Kedar) during your trek. For this trek you have to prepare with packed lunch. The locks (hair) of lord Shiva worshiped in this temple. From here you will have the striking views of valley with terraced fields and lush green forests. Later return trek to Urgam. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 06): Urgam - Kalgot (2215 mts/7265 ft)
After an early breakfast trek up to Kalgot Village through dense forest, lush green meadows. This is the tough day. Evening arrival at Kalgot village. Meet the locals, know their culture etc. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 07): Kalgot - Rudranath (2286 mts/7498 ft)
Morning trek up to the temple of Sri Rudranath, another form of lord Shiva. In this temple The face of the Shiva is worshiped. From here we can see a splendid view of Hathi Parvat, Nanda Devi, Nanda Ghunti, Trishuli and other group of peaks. You can also visit the Suryakund, Chandrakund, Tarakund which is located nearby the temple. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 08): Rudranath - Sagar - Mandal (18 kms trek/8 kms drive)
Morning after breakfast trek down to Sagar Village through the dense forest and meadows. Up on arrival at Sagar drive to Mandal. Mandal is also known Cherapunji of Garhwal. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 09): Mandal - Chopta (2900 mts/9512 ft) - Tungnath (19 kms/2 hrs/trek 3.5 kms
Morning after breakfast drive to Chopta. Chopta is situated at an altitude of 2900 m from the sea level. The place provides a panoramic view of the Himalayas and the surrounding areas. Up on arrival at Chopta trek to Tungnath (the third Kedar) with packed lunch. Tungnath is situated at the height of 3680 mts from the sea level the highest in India. the trek is three kms upward. Enroute you will find lush green meadows and you can see the entire range of snow clapped Himalayan range. Upon arrival at Tungnath Temple and visit the temple. After relax one can trek Chandrashila peak 1 kms ahead. Dinner and overnight stay in Tungnath.

Day 10): Tungnath - Chopta - Jagasu - Gaundhar
In the morning trek back to Chopta and from here drive to Jagasu (45 kms/2 hrs). From here trek up to Gaundhar. The confluence of Madmaheshwar Ganga and Makandya Ganga is the last place that is worth a visit before one reaches Madmaheshwar. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 11): Gaundhar - Madhmaheshwar (3289 mts/10788 ft)
Morning after an early breakfast start trek (18 kms/5-6 hrs) up to Madhya Maheshwar (the forth Lord Shiva temple of Panch Kedar). It is believed that the navel mid part of the body reappeared at this shrine after disappearing at Kedarnath. On arrival set camp here. Here you see the magnificent view of Chaukhamba, Kedarnath and the Neelkanth peaks. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 12): Madhmaheshwar - Gaundhar
In the morning trek back to Gaundhar. Dinner and overnight stay in tent.

Day 13): Gaundhar - Jagasu - Guptkashi
After an early breakfast 12 km trek to Jagasu and from drive to Guptkashi (30 kms). Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 14): Guptkashi - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (3584 mts/11756 ft)
Morning after breakfast drive to Gaurikund and from here 14 km trek up to Sri Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The trek is passes through beautiful surroundings. On arrival check in at guest house. Evening explore the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in Guest house.

Day 15): Kedarnath - Gaurikund - Rudraparyag
Morning after breakfast visit Kedarnath temple, trek down to Gaurikund and drive to Rudraprayag through river Mandakini. Check into hotel. Evening visit the confluence of Alaknanda & Mandakini Rivers. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 16): Rudraparyag - Haridwar (160 kms/4-5 hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar via Devprayag (Confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi. From here the Holy River Ganges starts). From Haridwar catch a train for Delhi. Arrival at Delhi by night. Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 17): Delhi Departure
Morning after breakfast full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Evening transfer to airport to catch a flight for onward destination.

Darcha Lamayuru Trekking Tours


Day 01): Arrive Delhi, where you will be met and transfered to your hotel. (Hotel B&B)

Day 02): Delhi - Manali by bus

Day 03): Manali - Darcha by bus.
Early morning drive from Manali to Darcha. Arrive Darcha and overnight in Camp.

Day 04): Darcha - Palemo (3600m) in 5h
Leave Darcha, We start our journey with an easy walk into the valley. En route, we will visit the Chika and Rarik monasteries.

Day 05): Palemo - Zanskar Sumdo (3860m) in 5h.
We cross the river by a hanging pulley. Overnight at Zanskar Sumdo

Day 06): Zanskar Sumdo - Chumi Napo (4640m) in 5h.
Early morning trek from Zanskar Sumdo to Chumi Napo. The route leaves the valley and starts climbing up quite steeply towards the Shingo La pass.

Day 07): Chumi Napo - Shingo La (5090m) - Lakham (4470m) in 6h.
Prayer flags flapping in the wind mark the Shingo La pass, surrounded with fascinating views of the glaciers. An easy traverse of a glacier takes us to the valley and to the Lakham yak pastures.

Day 08): Lakham - Kurgiak (4050m) in 6h.
A gradual descent along the Kurgiak river, lined with mani walls. On the way, we will come across a few Doksas, where yaks are kept in summer time.

Day 09): Kurgiak - Tetha (3950m), in 7h.
The trail is now boarded by meadows of flowers and barley fields. Shortens are spread all the way and highlight the religious fervour of the Zanskaris.

Day 10):Tetha - Purni (3700m), in 2h.
We visit Phuktal monastery (3850m), perched on the side of an impressive cliff. (4h return journey from Phuktal monastery to Purni).

Day 11): Purni - Ichar (3650m) in 4h.

Day 12): Ichar - Mune (3900m), in 5h.
The trail goes up and down along the Tsarap river. On arriving at Mune, we will visit its monastery.

Day 13): Mune - Padum (3600m) in 6h.
En route we visit Bardan monastery, one of the most important in the area. Overnight in Padum

Day 14): Padum - Kargil (3700m) by bus.
Drive from Padum to Kargil, Overnight at Kargil

Day 15): Kargil - Leh (3500m) by bus.
Drive from Kargil to Leh, Overnight at Leh hotel.

Day 16): Leh – Delhi by plane. (Hotel B&B)

Day 17): At leisure in Delhi. Safety day for your international flight. (Hotel B&B)

Day 18): Transfer to airport and fly back home.

Lamayuru Martselang Trekking Tours

This outstanding trek begins with a drive down the Indus River from Leh to visit the ancient and spectacularly sited Lamayuru monastery. We then trek through villages and nomadic settlements in the beautiful and little known Ripcher Valley. The trail crosses several passes with excellent views of the Karakorum and Zanskar Mountains before descending to and crossing the Zanskar River. From here we enter the transcendent wonderland of the Markha and Nimaling Valleys before arriving back on the Indus at Martselang. The highest trek elevation is the 16,900 foot Kongmaru La above Nimaling meadows.

Munsiyari Milam Glacier Trekking Tour

Day 05): Lilam - Bugdyar(2500 M / 8250 FT)
The distance covered today is 12 km and along the way one gets impressive views of Munsiyari and beyond. Overnight in Tents / Village huts.

Day 06):Bugdyar - MartoliI (3385 M/11170 FT)
Today's trek is takes you beyond the tree line and you can catch glimpses of alpine pastures. The distance covered will be 14 km (8 hrs). Martoli is a deserted hamlet that used to be of great prominence on the Tibetan trading route. Overnight in Tents.

Day 07): Martoli - Ganghar (3260 M/10760 FT)
The trek today will offer intermittent views of the Himalayan peaks. On reaching Ganghar the Nanda Devi East can be see. Total trek 12 km (6 hrs). Overnight in Tents.

Day 08): Ganghar - Pachu (3690 M/13035 FT)

Day 09): Pachu (Rest Day) (3690 M/13035 FT)

Day 10): Burfu - Milam (3400 M/11220 FT)
The scenery is a continuation of the day before with impressive views of the Nanda Devi peaks. Today trek will take about 4 hrs for the 8 km. Overnight in Tents.

Day 11): Milam- Glacier (4200 M / 13860 FT)
A 2 hour hike takes you to the Glacier head; it is the largest in the Kumaon region. Spend the day at the glacier and return to Milam. Overnight in tents.

Day 12): Milam - Rilkot (3250 M/10725) FT
- Downhill almost all the way it is a 17 km (8 hrs) trek today. Overnight in Tents.

Day13): Rilkot - Bugdyar
Another downhill day, with the highlight being the Narrow gorge at Nahar Devi. Trekking distance 12 km (5 hrs). Overnight in tents.

Day 14): Bugdyar - Lilam
Its 12 km of downhill all the way. Reach campsite by the afternoon and chill out. Overnight in tents.

Day 15): Lilam - Munsiyari
Trek to the road head and head back to Munsiyari for a well deserved hot water bath. Overnight in resthouse.

Day 16): Munsiyari - Ranikahet / Almora
Depart from Munsiyari after an early breakfast. Reach Ranikhet / Almora / Nainital by the evening. Overnight in resthouse.

Day 17): Almora - Kathgodam - Delhi
Take a taxi from Almora / Ranikhet/ Nainital to reach Kathgodam to catch a Bus or the night train to Delhi. On arrival check in at hotel. O/N stay at hotel.

Day 18):Delhi/Departure
Morning transfer to the airport time to catch flight for onward destinations.
